Craving some Thai comfort food? Try this delicious Khao Man Gai recipe!
**Ingredients**:
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 4 slices ginger
- 6 cups water
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 4 cloves garlic
- Salt to taste
**Sauce**:
- 4 tbsp fermented soybeans
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 4 tbsp chopped ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 Thai chilies, minced
**Instructions**:
1. Boil the chicken with salt, cilantro, ginger, and water for about an hour.
2. Remove chicken, let it cool, and slice.
3. In the chicken broth, cook the jasmine rice with garlic until tender.
4. For the sauce, blend all ingredients until smooth.
5. Serve chicken on a bed of rice, drizzled with sauce, and enjoy!
