Creamy, tangy, and oh-so-delicious, it's the perfect treat to impress your guests or indulge in a sweet solo moment.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Fresh berries, for garnish (optional)
- Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a simmer and the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest until well combined.
3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then pour it into serving glasses or ramekins.
4. Refrigerate the Lemon Posset for at least 4 hours, or until set and chilled.
5. Once chilled, garnish the Lemon Posset with fresh berries and mint leaves, if desired.
6. Serve and enjoy this creamy and tangy dessert, savoring every spoonful of lemony goodness!
