Hey everyone! I just tried this recipe last night, and it was SO good I had to share. It’s simple, healthy, and super satisfying—a perfect quick meal or side dish. Hope you love it as much as I did!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch broccoli rabe (about 1 pound), trimmed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 can (15 oz) white beans (like cannellini or navy beans), drained and rinsed
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon 🍋
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (or more if you like heat 🔥)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch the broccoli rabe for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Toss in the white beans and stir for 2-3 minutes to warm them through.
  4. Add the broccoli rabe to the skillet, toss everything together, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in the lemon zest and juice right before serving for that fresh, zesty kick.

It’s great on its own, but I think it pairs perfectly with crusty bread or over pasta. Let me know if you give it a try—would love to hear your twists on it! 😊
