I agree with the above posts. If you don't use them already, gochujang, garlic, and sesame oil are musts.
If you like spicy, I recommend dicing or mincing Thai chili peppers and adding them to the beef!
You can also add sparing amounts of sugar to mildly glaze and sweeten the beef. Happy cooking!
