Hey there, culinary adventurers! Looking for a way to make Brussels sprouts absolutely irresistible? Dive into this Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts recipe! It’s a perfect blend of sweet and savory that will have everyone asking for seconds.

Ingredients:

Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 6 slices bacon
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional, but oh-so-tasty!)
- ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional for a crunchy twist)
- Get the Bacon Crispy: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay those bacon slices out on a baking sheet and let them bake for 15-20 minutes until they’re perfectly crispy. Once they’re out, let them cool and crumble them up. Save a little bit of that bacon goodness for later.
- Prep the Brussels Sprouts: While the bacon is working its magic, toss your halved Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on another baking sheet. They’re ready to roast!
- Roast Away: Pop the Brussels sprouts in the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through. They should be golden and crispy on the edges.
- Glaze and Combine: In a large skillet, heat a bit of the reserved bacon drippings. Add the roasted Brussels sprouts and pour maple syrup over them. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat them in the sweet syrupy goodness.
- Final Touches: Stir in the crumbled bacon and, if you’re feeling fancy, the chopped pecans. A splash of balsamic vinegar can add a delightful zing if you like. Serve warm and enjoy the delicious crunch!
