Mapo Tofu is a classic Sichuan dish known for its bold flavors and spicy kick, featuring tender tofu in a rich, spicy sauce made with ground meat, garlic, and a blend of Sichuan spices.

🍲 **Ingredients**:
- 300g tofu, cubed
- 200g ground pork or beef
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp doubanjiang (fermented bean paste)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
- 1 tsp Sichuan peppercorns (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooked rice (for serving)

🍲 **Instructions**:
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
2. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
3. Stir in doubanjiang and soy sauce, then add the broth and bring to a simmer.
4. Gently add tofu cubes and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
6. Garnish with Sichuan peppercorns (if using) and chopped green onions. Serve over rice and enjoy the spicy, savory flavors of Mapo Tofu!
