Novice Foodie
Ingredients:
- 200g ladyfinger biscuits
- 250g mascarpone cheese
- 300ml heavy cream
- 100g sugar
- 3 tbsp matcha powder
- 200ml hot water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Dissolve 2 tablespoons of matcha powder in 200ml hot water. Let it cool.
- In a bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of matcha powder until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip each ladyfinger biscuit in the cooled matcha tea and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
