Mochi Tofu, or tofu mochi, is a unique treat combining the chewy texture of mochi with the soft, subtle flavor of tofu. This fusion snack offers a delightful twist on traditional mochi.
**Ingredients**:
- 1 block firm tofu, drained and crumbled
- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Cornstarch or potato starch (for dusting)
**Instructions**:
1. Mix crumbled tofu, glutinous rice flour, sugar, and water in a bowl until smooth.
2. Steam the mixture in a heatproof dish for about 20 minutes, or until firm and slightly translucent.
3. Let it cool slightly, then dust with cornstarch or potato starch.
4. Cut into bite-sized pieces or shape as desired. Enjoy the chewy, subtly flavored Mochi Tofu!
