I recently tried this amazing Ninja Creami recipe, and it was a game changer! Making ice cream at home has never been this easy or delicious. Here’s how you can make it too:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, fruit chunks, cookie crumbles, etc.
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base: In a medium bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container. Secure the lid and place it in the freezer for at least 24 hours, until the mixture is completely frozen solid.
- Process the Ice Cream: After freezing, take the pint container out and remove the lid. Insert the container into the Ninja Creami machine, lock it in place, and select the “Ice Cream” setting.
- Add Mix-ins (Optional): If you want to add any mix-ins like chocolate chips or fruit chunks, make a small well in the center of the ice cream with a spoon. Add the mix-ins and process again using the “Mix-In” setting on the machine.
- Enjoy!: Once processed, your homemade ice cream is ready to serve! Scoop it out into bowls or cones and enjoy immediately.
