  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced into rings or chunks

Instructions:

  1. Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

  4. Let the pineapple cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to caramelize and develop a golden brown color on one side.
  5. Using tongs, flip the pineapple slices or chunks over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side, until caramelized and golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the pineapple for balance.
  7. Optional: Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  8. Remove the pan-fried pineapple from the heat and transfer to a serving dish.
  9. Serve the pan-fried pineapple as a delicious side dish, dessert, or topping for pancakes, yogurt, or ice cream.
