- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 72 small pretzel twists (or as needed)
- ½ cup chocolate chips (or as needed)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, peanut butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually stir in flour and baking soda until the dough forms.
- Shape the dough into 36 small balls. Flatten each one slightly and shape into an upside-down triangle.
- Decorate the cookies: Press two pretzels at the top corners for antlers, two chocolate chips in the center for eyes, and one chocolate chip or M&M at the bottom for the nose.
- Arrange the cookies on baking sheets, leaving some space between them.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
