Perfect for your special dish

Ingredients:
- Cooked rice (white rice, brown rice, or any variety you prefer)
- Olive oil or any cooking oil of your choice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional add-ins (choose any combination):
- Diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
- Protein (chicken, shrimp, tofu, cooked sausage, etc.)
- Garlic, minced
- Soy sauce or tamari for seasoning
- Herbs and spices (paprika, cumin, thyme, etc.)
- Eggs, beaten (for a fried rice style hack)
Instructions:
- Prepare Ingredients:
- Cook the rice according to package instructions if not already cooked.
- Chop any vegetables or protein you plan to add into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat Oil:
- In a large skillet or frying pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil or cooking oil over medium-high heat.
- Saute Vegetables and Protein (if using):
- Add any diced vegetables and cook until they begin to soften, about 3-5 minutes.
- If adding protein (like chicken, shrimp, or tofu), cook until fully cooked through.
- Seasoning:
- Season with salt, pepper, and any other herbs or spices you like. Garlic can be added here for extra flavor.
- Add Rice:
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet or pan. Use a spatula to break up any clumps and mix well with the vegetables and protein.
- Optional: Make it a Fried Rice Hack:
- Push the rice mixture to the side of the pan and pour beaten eggs into the cleared area.
- Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then mix into the rice mixture.
- Final Seasoning:
- Drizzle with soy sauce or tamari for seasoning and additional flavor, adjusting to taste.
- Serve:
- Once everything is heated through and well combined, remove from heat and serve hot.
Tips:
- This rice hack is incredibly flexible. Feel free to adjust the ingredients and seasonings based on what you have on hand and your personal preferences.
- You can also add a splash of sesame oil for extra flavor, or garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro for freshness.
