- ¼ oz active dry yeast (2 packages)
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 6 eggs
- 1½ cups Romano cheese, grated
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, stir together the lukewarm milk and active dry yeast. Let it sit for a few minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Mix Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, eggs, yeast mixture, cheese, and melted butter. Mix well until the batter is smooth.
- Let Dough Rise: Spoon the batter into two lightly greased 9×5-inch loaf pans. Cover and let it rise for about 60 minutes until it has doubled in size.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the bread for about 45 minutes, or until it is golden brown and the bottom of the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
