Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

  1. Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and dried rosemary on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Make sure to adjust the heat if necessary to prevent burning.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, transfer it to a plate and cover it to keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

  7. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet to incorporate them into the sauce.

  10. Allow the chicken to simmer in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
