- 10-12 large scallops, patted dry

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Carefully add the scallops to the skillet, making sure they are not overcrowded. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and caramelized.
