Sesame Garlic Ramen Noodles

I'm a huge fan of Korean dramas and I always crave them whenever they eat ramen noodles. So i looked up on the internet and found this recipe!

Here's a delicious recipe for Sesame Garlic Ramen Noodles:

Ingredients:​

  • 2 packs of ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (shiitake or button mushrooms work well)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Optional: cooked chicken, tofu, or shrimp for protein

Instructions:​

  1. Prepare Ramen Noodles:
    • Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, honey or brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sriracha sauce. Adjust sweetness and spiciness according to your preference.
  3. Cook Vegetables and Protein:
    • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add bell pepper and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
    • If using protein (chicken, tofu, or shrimp), add it to the skillet and cook until fully cooked through.
  4. Combine Everything:
    • Lower the heat to medium and add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet.
    • Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and vegetables. Toss everything together gently using tongs or a spatula until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve:
    • Divide the sesame garlic ramen noodles into bowls.
    • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  6. Enjoy:
    • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious sesame garlic ramen noodles!
