Should peach dump cake be all gooey and delicious, or did I mess something up?

I just made a peach dump cake, and while it tastes good, it's super gooey in the middle. Is that how it's supposed to be, or did I mess up the recipe? I'm a bit confused. Any insights?

Sounds tasty! Dump cakes can be a bit gooey, but if it’s too much, maybe it needed more baking time. Try baking it a bit longer next time!

Peach dump cake should be ALL gooey and delicious! If it's not, maybe it didn't bake long enough. Or, if it's too dry, it might have baked too long. But, don't worry, it's usually pretty hard to mess up!
