Slow Cooker Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
Slow Cooker Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
- 2 cans Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls (8-ct each)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)
- In a small bowl or gallon-sized bag, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Melt the butter in a glass bowl, then stir in the brown sugar until well combined.
- Line your 5-7 quart slow cooker with parchment paper or spray with coconut oil cooking spray.
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them into the bag with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Seal and shake to coat the pieces.
- Arrange half of the coated cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Drizzle half of the butter-brown sugar mixture over the first layer. Add the remaining cinnamon roll pieces and top with the rest of the butter mixture.
- Place 3 sheets of paper towels over the slow cooker before putting on the lid to catch any moisture.
- Cook on low for 2 hours, checking after 1 hour. If the edges are brown and the center is gooey, perform the toothpick test to check for doneness.
- Turn off the slow cooker and let the rolls sit for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle with the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
