Spice and heat lovers, I need your insight! I'm planning to cook gumbo tonight, but I'm a bit worried about the spice level. Can anyone give me the lowdown on just how spicy gumbo tends to be? Should I proceed with caution or dive in with gusto?

No worries, gumbo isn't gonna blow your tastebuds off It can be spicy, but mostly depends on the recipe ..

Some folks like it with a kick, but it's usually pretty mild. You can totally enjoy it even if you're a spice newbie! And hey, you can always add hot sauce later if you need that extra heat Go for it!
