Spiced Pear & Gorgonzola Flatbread

- 1 ready-made flatbread or pizza crust
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cups arugula
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Pears: In a bowl, toss the pear slices with olive oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
- Assemble Flatbread: Lay the flatbread on a baking sheet. Spread a thin layer of olive oil over it.
- Top with Pears: Arrange the spiced pear slices evenly over the flatbread.
- Add Cheese & Walnuts: Sprinkle the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and chopped walnuts over the pears.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the flatbread is crisp and the cheese is melted.
- Finish with Honey & Arugula: Remove from the oven and drizzle honey over the top. Scatter fresh arugula on top.
- Season & Serve: Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Slice and serve warm!
