- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- Juice and zest of 2 oranges
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to your heat preference)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro and orange slices for garnish
- Season the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken thighs, skin side down, until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the glaze: In the same skillet, reduce the heat and add the garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the orange juice, orange zest, honey, soy sauce, and sriracha. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
