- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional garnish: chopped fresh cilantro or sliced green onions
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (a hundred ninety°C) and gently grease a baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and permit it simmer for approximately 5 mins, stirring every now and then, until barely thickened. Remove from warmth and let it cool barely.
- Season the chook breasts with salt and pepper to taste, then location them in the organized baking dish.
- Pour the pineapple BBQ sauce over the chicken breasts, making sure they may be properly covered on all sides.
- Bake within the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chook is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of a hundred sixty five°F (75°C).
- Once the hen is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes earlier than serving.
- Garnish the Pineapple BBQ Baked Chicken Breast with chopped sparkling cilantro or sliced green onions if favored.
- Serve warm and revel in the tropical flavors!
