I would like to give you the meals preparation fast, if you have very less time? The solution is just within reach: therefore, our recipe name is our Turmeric Chicken Flatbread. Although turmeric is usually not a permanent resident of menu items for smoothies or juices, we took this a bit further and decided to season the grund chicken thighs with it. Tweaked very well with that lovely scent of pumpkin pie spice, this seasoning genus bring out the finest qualities in the chicken. Served on top of the spongy naan and added with a sauce yogurt, this dish will be something to fill you up in only 20 minutes of taking your time to prepare it. Definitely, this is a number one recipe over American nights or when I just need quick food. - 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 red jalapenos, thinly sliced
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 ounces baby spinach
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1/3 cup plain whole milk yogurt
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 4 pieces naan
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions:
- Preheat Broiler: Set the broiler to high.
- Pickle Jalapenos: Mix vinegar, honey, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a bowl. Add jalapenos and stir. Set aside.
- Season Chicken: Toss chicken with pumpkin pie spice, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper.
- Cook Chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until crispy and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
- Cook Spinach: In the same skillet, cook spinach and 1 clove of garlic until wilted, 1-2 minutes.
- Make Yogurt Sauce: In a bowl, whisk yogurt, lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, remaining garlic, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and pepper.
- Broil Naan: Brush naan with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Broil until crispy and slightly charred, 2-3 minutes.
- Assemble Wraps: Top each naan with spinach, chicken, pickled jalapenos, cilantro, and drizzle with yogurt sauce.
