Tender carrots bathed in butter and seasoned with smoky paprika create a mouthwatering side dish that's both simple and sensational. Perfect for adding a pop of color and flavor to any meal! 
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the sliced carrots. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the carrots are tender but still slightly firm.
2. Drain the carrots and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
4. Once the butter is melted, add the cooked carrots to the skillet.
5. Sprinkle the smoked paprika over the carrots and toss until evenly coated.
6. Cook the carrots in the butter and paprika mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and well combined.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Remove from heat and transfer the carrots to a serving dish.
9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
