My mum always used to make it with spiral pasta, corn, grated carrots, red capsicum, scallions, mayo and curry powder, I think it's the only thing she ever used mayo in, she's first generation Australian of Dutch descent which is where I think the curry and mayo comes from given both are very popular in Nederland and I've never seen it made the same way outside of our family gatherings.
