Great question! I’ve heard it also helps reduce the risk of fries becoming soggy. Worth the extra step, IMO.

Soaking fries before cooking helps remove starch, making them crispier when fried. It's like prepping the fries for a better texture! Thanks for the tip, it really made a difference!
