Hey everyone! Just wondering why Oysters Rockefeller are always served on a bed of salt. Is it mainly for presentation, or does the salt actually enhance the flavor or freshness? Curious to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have! 😊🍽️
 
I think it's done to keep the oysters stable. They don't tip over that way! 😊
Yeah, when I worked at a seafood restaurant, we always arranged oysters like that to keep them from tipping. Keeps them stable and looks neat too! 😊🍴
