Why is my monkey bread still doughy?

Uggghhhhh! Every time I try making monkey bread, inside stays doughy. Followed multiple recipes exactly, yet no luck. Oven temp's right, cooking time seems sufficient. Maybe not letting dough rise enough? Curious if anyone else has run into this issue and found solutions. Tips on ensuring fully baked bread are welcome!
 
Your monkey bread may still be doughy if it wasn't baked for long enough, if the oven temperature was too low, or if the dough wasn't fully cooked before serving.
