Ingredients:
- 2 hot dog buns
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 cup yakisoba noodles (pre-cooked)
- 2 tablespoons yakisoba sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Pickled ginger (beni shoga), for garnish
- Aonori (seaweed flakes), for garnish
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion, carrot, and green bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Add the sliced cabbage and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the cabbage is wilted.
- Add the pre-cooked yakisoba noodles to the skillet and toss with the vegetables.
- Pour the yakisoba sauce over the noodles and vegetables, stirring well to ensure everything is evenly coated and heated through.
- Remove the skillet from the heat.
- Open the hot dog buns and lightly toast them if desired.
- Fill each bun generously with the yakisoba mixture.
- Garnish with pickled ginger and aonori on top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
