I tried making these lemon lavender cookies, and they’re such a unique treat—delicately floral and zesty at the same time!

Ingredients:- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
- 1 egg
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and lavender until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool before serving.
