Ingredients:

Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Prepare Ribs:
- Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. This helps the seasoning penetrate the meat and makes the ribs more tender.
- Make Dry Rub:
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Season Ribs:
- Rub the dry mix all over the ribs, coating them evenly.
- Wrap Ribs:
- Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil. Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet, meat side up.
- Bake:
- Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bones easily.
- Add Barbecue Sauce:
- Carefully remove the ribs from the oven and unwrap them. Discard the foil.
- Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
- Broil (Optional):
- Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) or turn on the broiler.
- Place the ribs back in the oven, uncovered, and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky. Watch closely to prevent burning.
- Serve:
- Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before cutting into portions.
