Have this nice dessert!
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1-2 tablespoons water (as needed for consistency)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Avocado:
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
- Add Remaining Ingredients:
- Add the sour cream (or Greek yogurt), lime juice, minced garlic, and fresh cilantro (if using) to the blender or food processor.
- Blend Until Smooth:
- Blend the ingredients until you get a smooth and creamy texture. If the mixture is too thick, add water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Season to Taste:
- Taste the crema and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Serve:
- Transfer the avocado crema to a serving bowl or airtight container. It’s best served immediately but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. If stored, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the crema to prevent browning.
