Instructions:​

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set the pasta aside.
  2. Prepare the Avocado Sauce: While the pasta cooks, cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend it Up: Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, basil leaves, salt, and pepper to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
