- 1 pound of ground sausage
- 2 cups of Bisquick baking mix
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder and/or a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra flavor
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, Bisquick baking mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and any optional seasonings.
- Mix everything together until well combined. It may be easier to use your hands for this step.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving a little space between each ball.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
