Buttered Veggies for Sides🥦🥬🥕

Hi!! I'm sharing you one of my fave sides to serve. Buttered veggies go along with many dishes so I usually cook it every time. With this simple and easy recipe, you can level up your meal to 🌟 💯

Ingredients:

¼ cup butter
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon brown sugar
½ cup vegetable broth
3 carrots, chopped into batons
2 cups chopped broccoli
2 cups chopped cauliflower
1 tablespoon fresh herbs, optional

INSTRUCTIONS​

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Add in the salt, black pepper, brown sugar, and vegetable broth.
  3. Once it comes to a simmer, reduce the heat to low, add in the vegetables and stir well to coat.
  4. Cook for 7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp. If you prefer your veg softer, cooked for 10 minutes. (You may need to add extra broth)
Note that you can actually use any veggie you want. Cabbage, green beans and peas are also good for this recipe;)
