  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Assembly
  • Bagels, cream cheese, capers, and red onion


Directions
  1. Peel carrots into thin strips. Steam for 5 minutes until tender.
  2. Marinate with liquid smoke, soy sauce, olive oil, and paprika for at least 1 hour.
  3. Layer on a bagel with cream cheese, capers, and onion.
 
This sounds so creative! 🥯 I think using the carrot as a substitute for smoked salmon is brilliant, though I’d add a little dill and capers for extra flavor!
