Who can say no to a Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie, right? Specially when they're soft, gooey, and packed with chocolatey goodness. I just had to share with you this fantastic cookie recipe that a friend recently gave me
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
