Try a healthier version of sausage

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Casings (optional)
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken with all the seasonings.
- Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the chicken.
- If using casings, soak them in water according to package instructions.
- Stuff the chicken mixture into the casings using a sausage stuffer or your hands, if you're comfortable with that method.
- Twist the sausages into links at desired intervals, about 4-5 inches apart.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat and cook the sausages for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and browned on the outside.
- Once cooked, serve the chicken sausages hot with your favorite sides or use them in your favorite recipes. Enjoy!
