Hey! Are looking for smooth, not so sweet, and perfect Choco mousse dessert recipe? This recipe is so easy to make and and I'm sure your friends and family would definitely love this!

Ingredients:
  • 6 ounces (170g) semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, chocolate shavings, fresh berries
Instructions:
  1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water (double boiler), stirring occasionally until smooth. Alternatively, you can melt them in the microwave using short bursts, stirring in between each burst to ensure even melting. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks with 2 tablespoons of sugar until pale and slightly thickened. Whisk in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly until well combined. Set aside.
  4. In another clean, dry bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. Be careful not to overwhip.
  5. In yet another bowl, beat the egg whites with the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until no streaks remain.
  7. Then, fold in the beaten egg whites in two or three additions, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
  8. Divide the chocolate mousse among serving glasses or bowls. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  9. Before serving, you can top the chocolate mousse with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries, if desired.
  10. Enjoy your homemade chocolate mousse!

You can just store in your fridge and just eat it anytime you want. Enjoy and indulge this sweet treat and I hope you like it!
