Chocolate Doughnut Ice Cream Sandwiches Recipe

Hey, you don’t have to look anywhere because these Chocolate Doughnut Ice Cream Sandwiches are the tastiest treat for every occasion. Who says you cannot have dessert for breakfast? These tasty treats will simply make you wish for them in the morning or night time.

Ingredients:

• 4 chocolate cake donuts
• 2 cups cherry-vanilla ice cream
• Mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Slice the chocolate cake donuts in half horizontally.
2. Place about 1/2 cup of softened cherry-vanilla ice cream on each bottom half of the donuts.
3. Quickly spread the ice cream almost to the edges of the donuts, then top with the other halves, pressing gently together.
4. Roll the sides of the ice cream sandwiches in mini chocolate chips.
5. Freeze the sandwiches until they're firm, about 2 hours.
