Instructions:
  1. Prepare Vegetables:
    • In a large bowl, combine the chopped green tomatoes, shredded cabbage, chopped bell peppers, and chopped onion.
  2. Make the Pickling Liquid:
    • In a saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, sugar, mustard seeds, celery seeds, turmeric, ground ginger, salt, and pepper.
    • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Cook the Chow Chow:
    • Pour the hot pickling liquid over the vegetables in the bowl.
    • Stir well to combine and coat the vegetables evenly.
    • Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  4. Store or Serve:
