Cinnamon Roll Wreath Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 batch of cinnamon rolls (or a half-batch of Spicy Sticky Cinnamon Rolls)
- 1 batch of glaze or icing (like Quick Sugar Icing)
Equipment:
- Paring knife
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper or baking mat
- Ramekin or small heat-proof bowl
Instructions:
- Prepare Dough: Roll out your cinnamon roll dough to about 15 inches long. Slice and shape the rolls, but don’t cut all the way through—leave them connected at the bottom. Place the dough log on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Shape the Wreath: Slice the dough into 1-inch thick rolls. Arrange the rolls into a wreath shape, starting from the top and overlapping each roll slightly. When you get to the end, tuck the last roll under the first one to complete the circle. If the rolls look messy or the filling spills out, don’t stress—it’ll still be delicious after baking!
- Add Support: Place a ramekin in the center of the wreath to help it keep its shape as it rises and bakes.
- Rise and Bake: Let the rolls rise, then bake them according to your recipe’s instructions. Remove the ramekin once they’re done baking.
- Add Icing: Drizzle the warm rolls with your glaze or icing using a fork or whisk.
- Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy this sweet, festive treat!
