Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375Ā°F (190Ā°C).
- Mix the Meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until just combinedādonāt overmix.
- Shape the Loaf: Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake: Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160Ā°F (71Ā°C). About 10 minutes before itās done, spread the remaining glaze on top.
- Serve: Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
