Hey everyone,

I recently tried my hand at making Crab Imperial, and it turned out amazing! Thought I'd share the recipe with you all. It's a great dish if you're looking for something a little fancy but still pretty easy to whip up. Here’s how I made it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika (for garnish)
  • Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the crab meat, green and red bell peppers, onion, and the lightly beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish or individual ramekins.
  5. Sprinkle paprika on top for a bit of color.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

This dish is perfect as an appetizer or a main course. I served mine with a simple salad and some crusty bread. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Happy cooking!
