Cranberry-Blueberry Sauce is a delightful and versatile condiment that brings a burst of fruity flavor to any dish. Whether you’re serving it with roasted meats, spreading it on toast, or using it as a topping for desserts, this sauce is sure to add a festive touch to your table. 






Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- 1½ cups water
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 whole cloves
- ½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 pint blueberries
- ¾ cup maple syrup
Directions
- Combine ingredients: In a large saucepan, mix together the cranberries, water, orange zest and juice, cinnamon sticks, grated ginger, vanilla extract, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, until many of the cranberries pop and the sauce starts to thicken, about 20 minutes.
- Add blueberries: Stir in the blueberries and maple syrup. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture returns to a simmer and reaches the desired consistency, about 20 more minutes.
- Cool: Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool completely. Remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves before serving or storing.
