I wanted to share one of my all-time favorite pasta recipes with you all. This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta
![Spaghetti :spaghetti: 🍝](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f35d.png)
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. (225g) pasta of your choice (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne work well)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it out by gradually adding some of the reserved pasta water.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until it's evenly coated in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
