Ingredients:
- 6 cups whole milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Combine Ingredients: In your Crock-Pot, combine the whole milk, heavy cream, semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix Well: Stir everything together until well combined. Make sure the cocoa powder and powdered sugar are fully dissolved and there are no lumps.
- Cook on Low: Set your Crock-Pot to the low setting and cook for 2 hours. Stir occasionally to help the chocolate melt evenly and to prevent any sticking.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once the hot chocolate is thoroughly heated and smooth, give it a final stir. Ladle the hot chocolate into mugs and top with your favorite toppings like whipped cream, marshmallows, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Enjoy the rich, velvety goodness!
- Keep Warm: If you're serving over a longer period, keep the Crock-Pot on the "warm" setting to ensure your hot chocolate stays at the perfect temperature.
