Fermenting banana peels

I was trying to ferment banana peels. I looked at my mixture and now it is moldy. Is it any good?
Yeah, been there. When stuff gets moldy, it's usually a no-go. Mold's like a bad sign... best to toss it and start fresh next time. 👎🍌

Fermenting banana peels is an interesting idea! Banana peels contain nutrients like potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus, and fermenting them could potentially release more of these nutrients for plants. To ferment banana peels, you can chop them into small pieces, place them in a container, cover them with water, and add a little sugar or molasses to feed the fermenting microbes. Let it sit for a few days, stirring occasionally, until you see bubbles forming, indicating fermentation. Then, dilute the liquid and use it as a fertilizer for your plants. It's a natural and eco-friendly way to recycle banana peels and nourish your garden!
