I just learned this last week, and now it's my go-to breakfast treat. Get ready to flip your morning routine with this delicious twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of focaccia bread (about 1/2 inch thick)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Butter or cooking oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
2. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or cooking oil to coat the bottom.
3. Dip each slice of focaccia bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
4. Place the soaked bread slices in the preheated skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
