Ingredients:


  • 12 frog legs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:


  1. Marinate Frog Legs:
    • Soak frog legs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Prepare Coating:
    • In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat Frog Legs:
    • Remove frog legs from buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring even coating.
  4. Fry Frog Legs:
    • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry frog legs in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
